1. Who We Are
Axis Mundi Travel ("we", "us", "our") is a licensed luxury travel and chauffeur service company based in Istanbul, Türkiye, operating under TURSAB License No. 9032. We operate the website located at services.axismunditravel.com and the main website at axismunditravel.com (together, "our websites").
We are the data controller responsible for the personal information collected through our websites, enquiry forms, and direct communications. Questions about this policy can be directed to us at the contact details in Section 12.
2. Data We Collect
Information you give us directly
When you submit an enquiry, request a quote, or contact us through our websites or messaging channels, we may collect:
- Your name
- Email address
- Phone number
- Travel details (dates, airports, destination addresses, passenger numbers)
- Vehicle preferences and special requests
- Any other information you choose to include in your message
Information collected automatically
When you visit our websites, certain data is collected automatically by our analytics and advertising systems, including:
- Browser type, device type, and operating system
- IP address (typically anonymised or truncated)
- Pages visited, time on page, and navigation paths
- Referring website or search query
- Geographic region (country or city level)
- Events such as button clicks, form interactions, and page scroll depth
Data from advertising platforms
If you arrive at our website via an advertisement on a third-party platform (such as a search engine or social media network), the advertising platform may share limited data about your interaction with that ad, such as the campaign, ad set, or keyword that led to your visit.
3. How We Use Your Data
| Purpose | Legal Basis |
|---|---|
| Responding to your enquiry and providing a quote or booking confirmation | Performance of a contract (or steps prior to entering one) |
| Communicating about your booking, including updates and confirmations | Performance of a contract |
| Measuring website performance and understanding how visitors use our site | Legitimate interests (improving our services and website) |
| Running targeted advertising campaigns to reach potential customers | Consent (via cookie banner) / Legitimate interests |
| Showing ads to people who have previously visited our website (remarketing) | Consent (via cookie banner) |
| Measuring the effectiveness of our advertising spend (conversion tracking) | Legitimate interests / Consent |
| Complying with legal obligations (e.g., tax records) | Legal obligation |
Where we rely on legitimate interests, we have assessed that our interests are not overridden by your rights. Where we rely on consent, you may withdraw it at any time (see Section 11).
4. Cookies & Tracking Technologies
Our websites use cookies and similar technologies (pixels, tags, local storage) to function correctly and to support analytics and advertising. The main categories of cookies we use are:
Strictly necessary cookies
These cookies are required for the website to operate and cannot be switched off. They do not store any personally identifiable information.
Analytics cookies
We use a web analytics service to understand how visitors interact with our pages — which content is viewed, how long sessions last, and what paths visitors take through the site. This data is aggregated and used only to improve the website. The analytics service may set its own cookies and may transfer data to servers outside the European Economic Area (EEA); where it does, appropriate safeguards (such as Standard Contractual Clauses) are in place.
Analytics data collection is configured to minimise personal data, for example by enabling IP anonymisation / IP masking where available.
Marketing & advertising cookies
We use cookies set by third-party advertising platforms to support our paid marketing activity. These cookies allow those platforms to identify your browser across different websites and to attribute visits or enquiries to specific advertisements. They also enable us to build audience lists for remarketing purposes.
Managing cookies
You can control and delete cookies through your browser settings. You can also opt out of interest-based advertising through industry opt-out tools such as youronlinechoices.eu (EU/UK) or optout.aboutads.info (US). Note that disabling certain cookies may affect website functionality.
5. Online Advertising & Remarketing
We advertise our services on search engines and social media platforms. As part of these campaigns, we may use the following techniques:
Interest-based advertising
Advertising platforms we work with use data about your browsing behaviour — collected via cookies or device identifiers — to show you ads that are relevant to your interests. When you see an Axis Mundi Travel advertisement on a third-party platform, this is because that platform has identified you as a likely potential customer based on your browsing history or demographics.
Remarketing / Retargeting
If you visit our website without making an enquiry, we may add you to a remarketing audience on one or more advertising platforms. This allows us to show you follow-up advertisements on other websites, apps, or social media feeds you visit later. These audiences are built using cookies placed on your browser during your visit.
You can opt out of remarketing by:
- Declining marketing cookies via our cookie consent banner
- Visiting your advertising platform privacy settings (e.g., your Google account's ad personalisation settings, or your Facebook/Instagram ad preferences)
- Using the browser-level opt-out tools referenced in Section 4
Custom audiences from contact data
In some cases, we may upload hashed (cryptographically scrambled) contact information — such as an email address — to an advertising platform to create a "custom audience". This allows the platform to match our existing customers and suppress ads shown to them, or to create similar audiences. The hashing process means the original data is not readable by the platform in plain text.
6. Conversion Measurement
To understand which advertisements lead to enquiries or bookings, we use conversion tracking features provided by advertising platforms. These features may operate in two ways:
Cookie-based conversion tracking
When you click an advertisement and subsequently complete a desired action on our website (such as submitting an enquiry form), a cookie-based signal is sent to the advertising platform to register a conversion. This helps us measure return on advertising spend and optimise our campaigns.
Enhanced conversion measurement
Some advertising platforms offer an enhanced conversion feature that improves measurement accuracy, particularly when cookies are not available (for example, because of browser restrictions or ad blockers). When you submit a form on our website, certain data you have provided — such as your email address or phone number — may be hashed (one-way encrypted) and sent to the advertising platform. The platform uses this hashed data only to improve the accuracy of conversion measurement by matching it against hashed data associated with logged-in users of that platform. The original, unhashed data is not retained by the platform for this purpose.
Enhanced conversion data is used only for measurement purposes. It does not create a new advertising audience or enable the platform to target you with ads on the basis of this data submission alone.
7. Direct Messaging & Communications
We offer WhatsApp as a convenient channel for enquiries and booking coordination. When you initiate or continue a conversation with us via WhatsApp, that communication is processed by WhatsApp LLC (a Meta Platforms company) under its own terms of service and privacy policy. We receive your phone number and the content of messages you send us. We use this information solely to respond to your enquiry and manage your booking.
WhatsApp applies end-to-end encryption to messages between you and us. However, we may retain the content of conversations for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfil your booking or resolve any dispute.
If you contact us by email or provide your email address in a form, we will use it to respond to your enquiry and, if relevant, to send you booking confirmations or updates. We will not add you to a marketing mailing list without your explicit consent.
Telephone
Calls to our service number may be handled by our coordination team. We do not record calls without informing you at the start of the call.
8. Data Sharing & Third Parties
We do not sell your personal data. We may share it with third parties only in the following circumstances:
- Service providers: We share data with platforms and tools that help us operate our website and advertising (e.g., analytics providers, advertising networks). These parties act as data processors on our behalf and are contractually required to process your data only on our instructions.
- Advertising platforms: Hashed or cookie-based identifiers may be shared with advertising platforms for the purposes described in Sections 5 and 6.
- Operational partners: In some cases, your booking details may be shared with a partner ground-transport operator who will fulfil the transfer. They are bound by confidentiality obligations.
- Legal requirements: We may disclose data when required to do so by law, court order, or a regulatory authority.
- Business transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of our business, personal data may be transferred as part of that transaction.

- Right of access: To request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
- Right to rectification: To ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete data
- Right to erasure: To request that we delete your data (subject to certain legal exceptions)
